Crate lounge chair (Rietveld Originals x HAY)

A brand new Crate series including this particular Crate Lounge Chair which demonstrates why simplicity is sometimes such a wonderful thing. Gerrit Rietveld's original design dates back to 1934 and was made from leftover wooden shipping crates. The perfectly balanced proportions make this design unique.

Give your Crate lounge chair an upgrade and choose extra comfort and style using one of the matching Crate seat cushions. This cushion is specially shaped to fit perfectly into the chair seat. The cushion is available in two different types (plain or ribbed) and four different colours. In addition, the seat cushion has an anti-slip layer at the bottom to keep it in place. The cushions also have a Teflon®-coated fabric making them water-repellent and UV-resistant.
