The Crate dining table is part of the Crate Collection, originally designed by the Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld in 1934. The series was crafted from surplus wooden shipping crates and has been relaunched in collaboration between Rietveld Originals x HAY.

Respecting the original design, the Crate dining table features the same carefully balanced proportions and transparent construction aimed at low production costs and optimal assembly processes. Available in two different lengths, the table boasts a rectangular tabletop and diagonal crossbars.

The table's simplicity and spacious design reflect the designer's architectural principles – functionality and comfort without occupying excessive space. Made of solid pine wood and finished with water-based paint in various color options, the Crate dining table is suitable for various outdoor settings
