Crate dining bench (Rietveld Originals x HAY)
The crate bench is an extension of Rietveld's crate furniture concept. The original design by Gerrit Rietveld dates back to 1934 and was made from leftover wooden transport crates. The crate bench is a balanced translation based on the same components as the famous high crate chair and fits perfectly at the dining table or garden table.
Give the Crate bench an upgrade and opt for extra comfort and style with one of the accompanying Crate seat cushions. This cushion is specially shaped to fit perfectly into the chair seat. The cushion is available in four different colors. Additionally, the seat cushion features a non-slip bottom layer. The cushion also has a Teflon®-coated fabric making it water-repellent and UV-resistant.
