Military table

Gerrit Rietveld   |  1923

Gerrit Rietveld’s Military table is part of the Military series that Rietveld designed in 1923 for the Catholic Military Home in Utrecht. In this series, he uses bolts and nuts instead of wooden dowels for the wood connections. The Military series is therefore very solid. The furniture, characterised by the use of square sleepers, is available in various colours, with the ends painted in a contrasting colour.

The table tops are made of solid oak that is painted natural, whitewash, white, black or red. The frame whose ends are finished with a contrasting color is available in white, black or red or grey. The table is available in a length of 160, 200 and 240 cm.
