In the former Mariënhage monastery complex in Eindhoven, DomusDela opened in 2021. Designed by Diederendirrix Architects, the building complex in the centre of Eindhoven has been transformed into a ceremonial house, a hotel and a restaurant. A largely glazed new building acts as the connecting link.
Restaurant De Refter in DomusDela exudes the same serene atmosphere as the entire complex. The name De Refter is a reference to the building's monastic past and means eating place in an abbey, convent, or boarding school. Interior designers Van Eijk & Van der Lubbe gave Rietveld's Press Room Chair a prominent place in their interior design for De Refter.
