It is possible to return your purchase at Rietveld Originals. There are a number of conditions attached to this. All information about returning your purchase can be found on this page.

Return the item yourself
It is also possible to return your purchase to our showroom or factory. The location details are listed below.
The return period is 14 days after receipt of the item. You can then cancel the purchase without a reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you or a third party designated by you (not the carrier) physically receive the order. You must cancel your purchase, return it to us or hand it over to us immediately after you let us know. The deadline for return is 14 days after the withdrawal.
The return period is 14 days after receipt of the item. You can then cancel the purchase without a reason. Attention! You cannot revoke the purchase of products made specifically for you. This is the case with the majority of the Rietveld Originals collection: an upholstered armchair, a lacquered chair or table are made according to your choice and are therefore not subject to the right of withdrawal. See article 10.7 of our conditions of sale.
We request that you fill in the withdrawal form and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then contact you directly to ensure that your return shipment process runs smoothly.
Return shipping liability
Returns are at the risk and expense of the buyer. This means that Rietveld Originals is not liable for damage or loss of returned items. Therefore always ask the sender for a tracking code and keep it well, or return the item to our factory or showroom.
Status of your return
As soon as we have received your return, we will send confirmation by email.
Condition of the returned item
You are fully responsible and liable for the depreciation of your purchase resulting from any use.
Received defective or wrong item
If you have received a wrong or defective item, please contact us directly so that we can give you instructions for returning the shipment free of charge.
Exclusion of return right
There are items that you cannot return. This applies to items that are made to measure for you or to your specific wishes. This is the case, for example, with upholstered furniture, but also with furniture that we finish in a specific size or colour at your request.
Costs and refund return costs
You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods. In the event of a defect or if you have received the wrong item, we will pay the costs.
When you return an item, you are entitled to a refund of the full purchase amount and any shipping and delivery costs (excluding the return costs). Repayment will take place as soon as possible, and no later than 14 days after notification of the withdrawal. We wait with a refund until we have received the goods back, or you have provided a proof of return of the goods, whichever comes first.
